Management Team

Rudy Hirschnitz
Company Founder and CEO
Rudy Hirschnitz began his career in electronics 50 years ago as a young machinist and production worker. He worked for 30 years for a rapidly-growing Hewlett Packard, starting as a machinist, then he became a tool and die maker journeyman and mold maker. Rudy's career grew along with HP, where he was later promoted to a variety of supervisory and management positions. After leaving HP, Rudy founded SRC Cables in 1986 to build high quality semi-rigid bent coax cables and flexible coax cables to the demanding tolerances of his former employer. Along the way he founded Quality Machine Engineering, a high-end machine shop specializing in CNC tight tolerance machining, to continue the development of innovative tools and production techniques he had developed during his tenure with HP. Today, Rudy continues to oversee many SRC Cables "firsts" such as the use of CNC software controlled cable bending, the development of conformable coaxial cables and the creation of specialized tooling to improve the quality of high frequency, low loss coax cable assemblies.
Dan Hirschnitz
President, SRC Cables, and SRC Microwave Products Division
Following his father's footsteps, Dan Hirschnitz has been a pioneer in the electronics industry for his entire 30 year professional career. Like his father, Dan worked for Hewlett Packard for 13 years in the semi-conductor field in Corvallis, Oregon and Palo Alto, California, where he distinguished himself as a no-nonsense production supervisor, quality-engineer and process specialist. Dan joined SRC Cables in 1990 to help his father with the growing company. In 1992 when Rudy founded QME, Dan became company President, where today he is responsible for SRC's worldwide operations, sales and production. Dan has lead SRC's growth to become a leader in not only coax and semi-rigid coax cables, but also as a key supplier of custom microwave absorber materials for use in the test equipment, defense and aerospace, wireless communications and microwave products industries.
Ron Roberts
Operations Manager
During the 1990's the rapid growth of SRC's wireless communications and defense-related businesses caused the company's production operations to grow substantially. During the latter half of 1995, Ron Roberts joined SRC as Operations Manager to provide senior experienced leadership as the company developed new production capacity and quality control systems. Ron oversees SRC's employee skills development, training, production planning and maintenance of our manufacturing software systems. He came to SRC from Broderbund Software, a worldwide software production and distribution company where he guided production during that company's rapid growth during the prior 12 years before joining SRC.
Lora Sansom
Director of Sales & Customer Support
Lora Sansom joined SRC during the company's most recent growth period. Lora's twelve-year high tech career began with another leading high tech Santa Rosa firm--Deposition Sciences, Incorporated (DSI). She manages SRC's bid and proposal processes and customer support function. Lora's friendly voice and helpful attitude set the bar for our company's "do what's right for the customer" policy.
Carlo Figliolini
Corporate Controller
Carlo Figliolini is responsible for SRC compliance, corporate finance and audit. His twenty-two year background in accounting, audit and financial controls provides the depth of experience in order to assure SRC plans for adequate capital, inventory controls and audited financials consistent with the highest standards.
